can you lock-in a frame rate at 70 FPS for example? or is 60 FPS the only frame-limit option?
That's what the turbo function is there for, use it.
Change the Framerates in pcsx2_vm.ini

pcsx2_vm.ini Wrote:FramerateNTSC=59.94
FrameratePAL=50.0

to

pcsx2_vm.ini Wrote:FramerateNTSC=70
FrameratePAL=70

OR

change the turbo mode to 200%(120 fps in NTSC, 100 fps in PAL) You can change it to any values say 140%. etc. Smile
First way has a high chance of causing freezes etc so I wouldn't recommend it...
But why? Turbo at 200% and FramerateNTSC = 120. Logically they are same. isn't it? or not? Unsure
No, turbo just sets the FPS limit of the emulator to your chosen value. The other way changes the internal timing of the game so it thinks it should be running at whatever value you set, which can break games badly.
i know i'm slow at this so bear with me, but how does turbo adjust work? I put it to 140 but the frame limit is still 60 fps
tap "Tab" to enter turbo but it will ignore the FPS limit.
if turbo won't excess of 64fps then you CPU and GPU is weak.
thanks it works now, i didn't know you activated it with the tab key
