Emulation is running slow. Before I go further, I made ISOs of my games using ImgBurn. Here are the games I am trying and speed of them:

Final Fantasy 12 (Runs fine)
Final Fantasy X (Runs fine)
Dragon Quest IX (Fine)
Tales of Legendia (Nearly unplayable)
MGS 2 (Unplayable)
MGS 3 (Unplayable)
Star Ocean 3 (Very slow)

My Computer Specs:
- Win 7 64-bit
- 8GB System RAM
- Intel Quad-Core i7
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M w/1.5GB
Computer is Toshiba Qosmio laptop.

Help appreciated Smile
what pcsx2 version ure using? and what settings?

just to predict. that processor isn't really good for pcsx2. you'd need more Ghz to run demanding games like MGS series.

what you could try is this svn verion and use the MTVU hack to try to speed it up.

Make sure your laptop is in high performance mode to get the most out of it

2GHz
then the speeds you're getting are normal.

MGS2 & MGS3 will require something like a 3.5 Ghz CPU
