hi can someone help pls...

while "denormals are zero" is ticked parts of the screen are disapeard(parts of the lands usually) im playing (((naruto 2))) ...great game but only denormals let me play it on reasonable frame rates...all the spped hacks and vu flush to zero only give me 5% and denormals gives me 40% boost in framerates...any advice will be welcome Smile

i isolated the denormals option and saw that its give me 40% boost in framerates while all the speed hacks and vu flush zero without denormals gave me only 5% boost in framerates...Sad
There is nothing you can do. Denormals are zero is a hack. Of course it breaks up some games.

hey...Smile...nice to be answeared so fast ... good service Smile...kidding

how many fps boost in precents do u think i will get if upgrading from p4 3.6 to quad core or good dual one?

my graphic card is ok i have 8800gt
Any C2D will help, C2Q won't make a diference to C2D since Pcsx2 only uses 2 cores, i recommend something like a C2D 8400 3.0Ghz with a nice cooler like Freezer 7 pro.
and if you get someone who's really good (not me...), you can get advice on how to overclock that baby. The 8400 can be overclocked quite a bit, and completely dominate fps-wise (given your graphic card isn't stone-age material)
ive got an 8400 for my desktop...how far do u think i can overclock it?
You would probably need to do it manually in bios and set vcore that is not auto (auto increases too much voltage) but i would say that changing 333*9=3.0Ghz to a 400*9=3.6Ghz would be pretty easy ( doesn't mean you won't need some research and lots of tests if you want to make 24/7) , but in the other hand with 2.33Ghz like mine with hacks i can play most games with normal speeds so i would say that only buggy or monsters games will need more than 3.0Ghz for exemple Tekken 5.
yea i'm doing some research on overclocking it right now...
wait wat is the best driver to play games at good potential on pcsx2?
my driver ive got right now is NVIDIA but i dont know what version i have on my desk....
