i have a very laggy games is that normal ??
or there is a better congiguration i could use ??
i know that my pc is not very strong to play games !
by the way it's Dell optiplex 360
thanks for help
and sory if the thread is repeated i searched before posting
I'm not familiar with Linux PCSX2. I did used to use an E2200 CPU with PCSX2, however.

Firstly, your Dell machine probably supports overclocking. So if you boost the clockspeed to 2.5Ghz, or higher, you'd get a performance boost.

Do you know how to enable speedhacks?

What model is your videocard?
this :
Quote:Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
won't be enough for most games.
Moreover, Linux port is generally less efficient than the windows one.
The E2200 can often be overclocked to 3Ghz, depending on which batch it came from. 50% speed boost is nothing to sneeze at. It's a crummy CPU, with tiny cache, but... Feasibly, it could run KH2.
thanks for your replay
my video card is
intel ® G33
i know that wondows is butter but i don't ask much
just less lags
which game can i use without lag on this machine ?
and how to enable speed hacks ??
i dont know
OK, you GPU won't help either.
Dunno about linux port's compatibility list.
which games do you actually have ?
I'm afraid the Intel G33 is a terrible video chipset. It can't even run Half Life 2, from what I've read. Your computer isn't up to running PCSX2, sorry.
thanks for answering my questions
