Having lag with PCSX2 is very normal when you're using a laptop, with a weak processor, that is most likely relying on a particularly weak integrated graphics unit.

my GPU is a Nvidia GeForce 9200M GE I don't believe that is a weak GPU
yep, follow rezard's advice.
Your laptop's definitely too weak to play most games under pcsx2

no one forces you to believe it... It's just as it is.

Then today you learn. Wink

The first digit in a graphics card's model number represents the series it belongs to.
Yours is a "9", so that's the second DirectX10 series from nVidia.
Yaaaay! Smile

The second digit of a graphics card's model number dictates it's grade within it's series.
Yours is "2", so it certainly will share most, if not all of it's memory.
Boooo... Sad

Needless to say,
a "2" from given a series is pretty low in general.
On top of that being a mobile variant,
and the fact that grade 2 GeForce didn't get to be remotely decent until they started with the triple digit model numbers...

You have a weak GPU, dude.
can i do anything other than get a new pc to stop the lag
'weak' just doesn't good enough to describe it, i prefer antique
Its not that old

you can keep playing on your PS2 until you can get a better PC.
I don't see any other option...
