I matched "car" and track 100% Here are the results:

pcsx2 SVN version 5267 on Laptop (2.3): 19-30
pcsx2 SVN version 5128 on Desktop (2.2): 26-40

Hopefully this sheds some light for those trying to use laptops, they're roughly 10% slower.
ahhh so you have a laptop despite w/o an dedicated GPU
it's quite a challenging.
Why didn't you use the PCSX2 processor benchmark, dude? ;P
All you have demonstrated is a potential IGP bottleneck, or thermal throttling coming into play.

the T4500 is a faster processor all around compared to the E22*0 chips.

to that regards, the T4500 is core 2(Penryn) based, while the E2200 is Core(Conroe) based.

That said i don't think the marchitecture matters much here as the E2210 wolfdale is based on penryn but doesn't provide much more performance over the E2200, with the T4500 still coming out on top.

I tested more than just native, I scalled things back as well. it was ALWAYS 10% slower. and in laptops thermal ALWAYS comes into play. the point of this was to show the difference between similar CPUs on a desktop and a laptop, this is the results. if you don't like them, fell free to provide your own

and on another note: Kenetica does NOT bottleneck. that is why I used it

and where might THAT be?

thermal throttling is manageable these days
do you ever get tired of trying to say everything I say is a lie?

Laptops are slower machines for PCSX2. true or false?
At the same speed a desktop will outperform a laptop. true or false?
Laptops heat quicker than desktops. true or false?
"Laptops are slower machines for PCSX2. true or false?"

Reasoning invalid.

"At the same speed a desktop will outperform a laptop. true or false?"

False. Laptops cpu's are equally as fast as their desktop marchitecture-clockrate equivalent cousin.

" Laptops heat quicker than desktops. true or false?"

Within Reason, which you provided none of, a Laptops cpu temperature can scale slower than a desktop thanks in part to the lower operating voltage.
Certain laptops (for no good reason) throttle more aggressively as pre-emptive measures to reduce the chance of machine failure. That said a laptop cpu throttling at 80c when the cpu is good to hit 100c before catastrophic damage is just going overboard and deserves using throttlestop to remove the issue.

Its your informal conclusion i have problems with, not your reasoning.

Ohmy No way...!
You've never seen the CPU benchmarks in the Hardware Section...!?

oh, you mean THAT thread. I grabbed the first DVD I found
