Comments:
Used custom patch, instead of automatic gamefixes workaround. This fixed sounds effects. Work fine also on PCSX2 1.4.0

Used pnach:
Code:
patch=0,EE,002b4c44,word,24060000
patch=1,IOP,001D77E4,word,27C40010
patch=1,IOP,001D77E8,word,0C0032B7
patch=1,IOP,001D77EC,word,00000000

Bugs:
None. Sounds work fine.

Status
Playable

Small note about previous 1jn14r report, is impossible there are no bugs with sound as auto game fixes remove loading them.
It seems some sounds don't load specifically in the menus and startup. There is still sound in music and fighting effects
1jn14r can you use above patch to check if it fixes all sounds for you too?
Yes it does, previously the sound effects for navigating through the menus were missing, all other sounds were fine. All sounds work with the custom patch. It's a subtle difference I didn't pick up on.
Is the pnach safe, perhaps I can add it to master.

edit:What about the old Gamefix workaround ?
Wait, do i understand right ? Does this mean DOA2: Hardcore is finally properly playable on PCSX2 ? (with all sounds i mean)
I pushed a new commit that contains the new patch for this version of the game.
https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/commit/78...e086a7ab4d

It was tested by refraction.
