i know that it only uses the cpu to render polygons on screen and works out flotation points with very accuate rendering but its so slow.

Is there anyway to make it faster besides a better computer or cpu cuz i can play games like ratchet gladiator at full speed with proper fps readings in software mode but games like jak that have flotation point errors and all sorts goin on and my idea about hybrid rendering failed because devs said its basically hardware mode but i want to know if anyone out there can help
overclocking
or buy a CPU with higher frequency...

hehe..sorry..I didn't see his profile...Tongue
Basically MONEY! YOU NEED IT!

Otherwise you're f*cked, have a nice day.

(Use proper speedhacks and what not. They still make a difference even in software mode I'm pretty sure).
you could set additional rendering threads to 2 in gsdx software options.
Make absolutely sure there is nothing else giving any load to your CPU (Other than Windows Explorer ofc).
I'm having the same problem but I don't think it's my PC. Could someone help me ?
