Comments:
Game was tested using the 4GB patch.

Graphic issue with the game displaying wide vertical stripes that covers the screen and lets only some parts to be visible. The glitched stripes show what could be the skybox. Same thing happens during the ship selection screen. Tested with all renders (HW, SW and OpenGL) without effect. It could be a core issue, since no graphical backends nor hacks fixed the bug. For some weird reason: switching renders in pause screen causes the stripes to go away, but resuming the game, they return. HW doesn't enable bloom lighting, SW does.

Comments:
Game plays the intro movie and gets stuck on first frame of the start menu(with ingame graphics running in the background). Game keeps running at 50fps and audience sound does play in background. No speedhack/gamefix/hacks/EE, IOP or VU settings had any effect. Tried stable, and two newer GIT versions but no changes. Same thing happens with DX9, DX11, OpenGL in both hardware and software modes. Only result I got was trying the oldest legacy build I could find. It actually got past the first frame and ran a few frames with camera turning slightly and the 2D press start and game logo graphics flashing on and off.
But it crashes a few frames in. Along with the VifCmd errors of the later versions, this old version mention the error:
*PCSX2*: DMA error: 1f800000

Intro

Are you sure the game boots in latest GIT build? Last time I tested this game it din't boot at all so current status should be "Nothing". It used to get to menus with google code svn builds but never worked with GIT. Can you recheck and confirm the settings you used to get it to work?

I already posted a test report in the existing CMR 2005 thread, but someone deleted the entire thread. The location was http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Colin-McR...6-E--30244

Thanks for the other two.
