Can someone explain to me what the "??" is? Is that where I'm supposed to place some random number/letter?

There is no notes that I can find that tell me what to put there for it.

edit: im making a huge ffx-2 pnach list.
It's where the amount you want would go. how ever much you want in decimal converted to hex pretty much. like 64 hex would be 100 decimal and FF hex would be 255 decimal. Should be simple enough to understand, just use a decimal -> hex converter to get whatever amount you're looking for.

Ah kk thanks, time to experiment. Smile
Appreciated!
It is also used for "something modifier"
For example item slot modifier, character slot modifier, character parameter modifier and so on,not just for amount of something

Yeah I get it. Smile I can range it from 00 to FF and each one represents a hex number converted to decimal that I can modify. xD

Would you happen to know a good and safe to use hex viewer/editor by any chance?
What do you mean "safe to use"...what are you going to do with it.

well I was just meaning if there was a safe website to do hex math with that won't risk my computer of getting malware, so "safe to use" as in do you know of any safe sites with either an online hex calculator or if one needs installed on my computer.

and I'm going to use these things to turn the "??" into pnach cheats.

I think I found a safe and reliable site for my experiments though so alls good.
Umm,maybe I didn't understand something but do you just want to convert decimal to hexadecimal values?

If yes,you already have a program for that...the windows calculator
