I already used the recommended settings and did whatever the guide recomended, but i keep on getting the "pluggin error" treatment. help?

"plugin error" can mean error with any of the plugins,not just GSdx.
Linuzappz can give you such error,Gigahertz can give you such error,LilyPad can give you such error,GSdx can give you such error and so on
And you don't need to install Directx 9,just the newest direct DirectX(which includes DX 7,8,9,10,11...don't know about 6)
i pretty much did whatever the PCSX2 guide says.....
don't know. as i know when you are installing pcsx2 you are asked to install a directx and you can't continue the pcsx2 setup without installing it

That doesn't help at all...what "Exactly" the error say(if you don't know from which plugin the error come from)
