Full Version: The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night

I'm having problems with the PAL version of that Spyro game where it freezes during the first cutscene, right as Spyro and Sparks head off to find Cynder. The game is run from an ISO file I extracted. Moments before the console spams this.

Specs are i5-3570k @ 3.40, GTX670, 8gb ram, Win7-64 and running PCSX2 1.1.0-5451

I have MTVU speedhack enabled. Renderer, software mode and MTVU have no effect on the issue.
according to the compatibility list (http://pcsx2.net/compatibility-list.html) the game you are trying to play is not fully playable and has issues which prevent you from playing the game from start to finish

it is better if you play the game on your playstation 2 machine

Can you try it with this SPU2X.dll?
It only has the message disabled. See if that brings speed up significantly please.

Are there known general problems with running at x6? Other games run stable at 50/60 fps with that scaling for the most part.

Thanks, but the problem persists. This is not a speed issue by the way, the 'game' runs at a constant 50fps until it freezes on that part.
Okay, added this to the ToDo list.
Thanks for the fix, the games work better now!
We're also working on the hang fix, should be up any minute Smile

That fixed the hanging in Eternal Night and the minor [but still present prior to r5460] sticking in the TY games. Thanks and well done! Laugh
