I have a problem with Valkyrie profile 2 PAL.
On the intro, FMV video and sound are not synchronized whith EE cyclerate on 2,and sound are bad whith EE cyclerate on 3.
Speed on the game is ok for EE on 2.
(Problem with french DVD and ripped iso)
Have you got a solution ?

tried removing speedhacks ?
yes same problem work only with EE on 3 with bad sound.
Specs:
Core i7 2600K @4GHZ
Radeon 5850
No, what i meant by "remove hacks" included setting ee cycle rate to 0
it doesn't work with speed hack disabled.
by "it doesn't work" you mean the game doesn't start ? or the sound is still bad ?
what do you mean by "bad sound" ? (slow motion, crackling)
with those specs, you should be able to run the game fine without speedhacks.
try to reset everything to default and do the following:
make internal resolution 2x (or higher if you feel like it runs fine with the settings i provide)
enable ghardware hacks and use skipdraw hack 1
enable alpha hack
enable the mtvu speedhack.
this wont break the game in any way and everything should be fine by then.
report back with results

not going to ask why you have a usa bios while being french, but you have tried to put everything at defaults right?
is this problem also occuring in the main game when playing?
Actually, i dont get it.
It sounds normal when you disable speedhacks, and starts to glitch when you max out ee cycle rate speedhack.
But that's to be expected...
