I have dumped the BIOS (PAL) and play PS2 games (PAL) on my computer (pcsx2). However, there are some NTSC games I really want to play but there are no PAL version available. Is there any chance for me to play those NTSC games? Thanks
I'm 99% sure it doesn't matter what bios is being used.
Works for both.
Just use "Boot CDVD (fast)".

I wasn't aware of the difference btw those two boot method.
Thank you so much.
If you allways boot fast, there are some games that will be in japanese (sonic-games and others).
I don't know why, but that is solved by running full boot.

In the full boot the BIOS may block games or create problems in general.

The fast option just enters directly into the game bypassing all initialization. The BIOS itself is always the same, what changes is... regional particularities.

is it mean some jap ntsc turn to pal or us ntsc games?..
It means that when you fast boot certain games, the language is japanese
eventhough the game is US. I played such one not long ago, and full boot
didn't help, but in the settings (still japanese), I was told there was a language
setting and one of them was english and suddently it was all readable !
But all others I have tried with that problem was "corrected" with a full boot.
May be bios setting,,,
