I've been having this problem with kingdom hearts, it crashes at completely random times at least so far during the beginning haven't made it past the beginning for obvious reasons. Anyways I turned off my speedhacks and set my vus to default but the problem persists.

My specs areeee...

AMD athlon 2 X4 635 (2900 Mhz)
4 gigs ddr3
Nvidia geforce gts 450

Whoops forgot to add I'm using PCSX2 1.0.0

Start by downloading the SVN and trying it again. Do you get any error messages when the game crashes? What does the console say after a crash?

Change XAUDIO 2 to DirectSound. It worked for me.
