I don't understand how people with MUCH worse specs than me can run much better games than me at a decents fps! I get about 60 (or so it says(it lags like hell))
1 - depends on what you're calling "worse specs"
2 - R&C series are ones of the most demanding games under pcsx2
3 - 60 fps IS full speed. I wonder what you expected ?
4 - Search around for threads about WD HDD. I think there is an issue about those specific drives that makes things slower.
5 - unfortunately, Bulldozer architecture is known to perform very badly under pcsx2 and gaming in general. Since this game works well (with no graphical glitches) only in software mode, you'll surely have a hard time to get playable speeds.
oh, wow, that is lousy ram.. even my DDR2 went faster..
on another note: MTVU and SW mode with 5(?) threads might help. (the number of cores on your CPU - 1)

Probably that's the internal speed of the RAM, the effective one is 2x666, so 1333MHz...the true problem is
SINGLE CHANNEL that probably reduce the performances (don't know how much).

It means you only have one RAM slot occupied. Add an identical one if you can.

It means that you've got just one module of RAM installed on your motherboard, almost all the recent CPU are able to to use two module of RAM at the same time doubling the theoretical data rate between CPU and RAM (and this is called dual-channel). You have a single channel with a slow module of RAM so the data rate is quite low, and the CPU is not able to give the highest performances (but it's hard to say how much...I think that in this situation you are averagely using the 90% of the real power of the CPU, but this just an hypotesis, I may be wrong...). So a possible way to improve your performances is to buy another module of RAM (almost) identical to the one you already have, or you can buy a kit containing two identical module of RAM and you remove (and maybe sell) the one you already have.
P.S. Modern CPU are also able to use 4 module of RAM but there won't be an increase in the exchange data rate.
Your problem is that you have a Bulldozer CPU.
