if you give us zero info, this is gonna be quite a mission
PC specs ?
Plugins used ?
Game name+ version (PAL/NTSC) ?
better description of your problem ("slow" ? How much FPS do you get and how much do you expect ?)

@Sumano, use this plugin for graphics: GSdx 883 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.13
Inside the plugin configuration, use these settings:
Resolution: (set this to your monitor's res)
Renderer: Use Direct3D10 if you're on Vista, and DX9 if you're on XP
Shader: (use Pixel Shader 2.0 if you're on XP)
Interlacing: (use any of the Bob/Blend choices)
Aspect Ratio: any you want
D3D internal res: Native
In the bottom 6 boxes, enable these: NLOOP hack(grey), texture filtering, logarithmic Z, & Alpha correction
Now Go into the CPU configuration, and make sure MTGS & Dual-Core Mode are enabled.
That's about it.. the rest depends on how fast your CPU is.

Hi, my specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 [email protected]
MB SocketAM2+ nForce560,Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3
ATI Radeon X550 128bit. 128MB
2GB OCZ 800MHz RAM
I see that the Emulator depends mostly on the CPU but some people in the posts have weaker CPUs and seem to get a bit better results and performance (Virtua Fighter 4,and such). Could it be that my GFX card is the bottleneck (I mean i know it's quite old and slow) but would it change anything if I bought, let's say 8800GT?
Thanx

It's definitely your video card. You should be able to get 40-55fps on a 2.6ghz CPU if you use DirectX10 mode in Gsdx. I've seen ppl get low FPS due to their weak video cards.
