I have managed to get the program to run, and the PlayStation menu boots and works fine

However, when I click on the PlayStation 2 Disc icon (loaded from an .iso) the screen goes dark as if it were going to load the game, then reloads the menu

Any help would be appreciated ^_^

Have you tried running the iso with fast boot?

Make sure you have Iso and not Plug-In or No Disc selected under the CDVD menu, then under Iso Selector, pick Browse. Navigate to and double click the Iso you want to load. Then go to System menu and Boot CDVD (fast). If you have loaded your BIOS into the emulator, then you should get activity in the console Window. If not, it will tell you in there what the problem is.
