Hey guys i love pcsx2!! the only thing that makes me mad is that it closes for no reason because of a supposed problem. i am in the middle of playing kingdomhearts 1 and sometime after the first boss, right before i even think about saving it closes unexpectantly. btw, i am running it on a brand new asus essentio with windows 8 x64 , 2gb video memory, 8g ram, amd proccessor. any reason?

If it's not game specific (that is, it happens in most/all games) it may have to do with the audio backend. In the audio plugin settings change it from xaudio to direct sound or wave out. This fixed it for me, and is apparently a known issue for some people.

posting the emulog.txt after a crash would help greatly
