Hey guys. New user here.

I've been trying to play my VP2 but i seem to be unable to get rid of these gridlines without losing a lot of visual quality. (see screenshot below)

[Image: udEYX8S.jpg] - With good graphics but gridlines.

[Image: i816Uil.jpg] - Bad quality no grids.

[Image: SpFPBcC.jpg] - Good quality config. Nvm the 10 rendering, its just 2 normally, i was trying to fix the issue Sad

The only solution i've found so far is change the Rendered on Video Settings from Hardware to Software, but as i've said, it makes the visual quality drop by a lot..

Anyway to fix this without losing the quality?
Enable Hw hacks in video plugin-configure-skipdraw-1
tick alpha, sprite, half pixel offset, wild arms offset.
don't know which can solve u'r problem.so it's better to tick all four of them.
btw i ticked them all the time whichever game i play !!
scanlines like that are usually offset. try that first

You forgot to tell him what side effects he can get when doing so.
It's your choice, but generally not a good idea at all.
For instance, setting skipdraw hack to 1 in this game is known to give huge speedboost and many graphical glitches, especially in battle.

@OP : enable those hacks only when you have a problem, and ONLY 1 by 1.

As a side note : it´s generally safer to follow saiki's advices than preet's (dont bash her, she's still learning Smile )
mine's literally a guess however
Hum..
For some reason my game doesnt load anymore.
It keeps giving the message "isofile ... searching for layer1"
And also freezes the emulator..
I've already checked the Tri-Ace fix and the MTVU... =/
oh ?
tried re-dumping your iso from your DVD ?
