Hi guys! I begun playing MGS 3 recently on PCSX2. The game runs perfect and graphics dont have problems but yesterday i lost about an hour of gameplay because PCSX2 didnt autosave the game. I shutdown the game when i was at this point http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7rH_Ql8PpM (Fear boos fight). And today when i opened PCSX2 to continue playing the game what do you guess happend?? DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEND?? Instead of continuing from the Fear fight the game continued from here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mWB_v16TIQ That a LOT of gameplay that i lost because of something that went wrong with PCSX 2 ! Please if someone can sent me a save state or a memory card file to be able to continuef from the Fear boos fight please do it!

there is no autosave feature in pcsx2

What did you use ? a savestate or memcard save ?

That's why I always use lots of savestates with my games.

you have to save the game yourself.. even the PS2 doesn't do it

Okay please can someone sent me a save state from the Fear fight? No i was not using save states because some times when yoiu quicksave, pcsx2 gives you a error message and then it crashes. Because of that i am trying to avoid save states/quick saves. And as i said this happend, after i closed pcsx 2 at the begining of FEAR boss fight and today i opend it again it begun from the point that i said.

Savestates are version dependent Shredder, you probably have more use for a normal savegame and you can try to see if gamefaqs have the savegame you need.

Not to sound like a jerk, but you should just suck it up and play again until you reach that point lol. MGS3 doesn't have a quicksave/autosave function even on the PS2. You have to hit Select and save with Para-Medic.

I know what happened, PS2 does not have a autosave feature and so does not PCSX2 has also. The reason being similar to PS2. It does not save at any point but at specific locations and does not do it because is hard to control such thing in memcards.

It's not that something went wrong with PCSX2 you lost the long gameplay, it's because you didn't save it yourself.

Your post sounded rude to people working hard to give you the emulator for free, does not matter how frustrated you became, it's yet you to blame.
