I am running windows 7 ultimate 64 with administrator mode and getting the following crash when trying to summon. I am running off of the original DVD. I ran codebreakers to test and ran without to test tos see if maybe it would help with a memory issue.

Something's quite wrong there... I don't believe either KH games are dual layer...

Also are you using a code breaker ISO and then playing the real game via DVD-rom? Seems a lot of weird stuff going on there...

(edit) In the mean time... stop using the code breaker, it can cause all sorts of issues in PCSX2. Find the codes you want, convert them to RAW format and then use PCSX2's built in pnatch system.

Also, as I said before, there is definitely an issue if your KH game is being seen as dual layer. Regardless, it should be dumped to ISO for best results. Google imgburn, it's free and will dump the game nicely.
Yes i have the codebreaker as an iso because i've had the disk for so long that it is scratched so i made an iso off of a used copy i bought to save from future headache. I get this same error sequence though even without the Codebreaker. I am not sure what I have wrong here.. I have tried several versions of PCsx2 i tried creating an ISO of my disk and i have tried running the actual disk through both my bluraydvd drive as well as my dvd burnerdrive

The SLUS and game CRC check out with known good versions, but again, it's seeing the game as a dual layer disc which it most definitely shouldn't be... I'm not sure what would be the cause of this honestly, someone with more experience might be able to swoop in... as it is, it looks like there is something wrong with the disc. This is an original version of the game right? No patches or anything like that right?
To add what happens is i can summon simba... from there the animation happens then when he is on screen with me if i push any buttons the game locks up. These error messages happen as the summon animation happens.

Yes this is an original copy dvd. as a matter of fact thinking it might be my copy i went to gamestop today and bought another copy to try ( which wasn't easy since i guess they will no longer carry ps2 games)
After uninstalling PCsx2 and reinstalling then using a save state from this site that was close to where i was the game started working... I don't know if maybe if corrupted at some point early on but now i have 2 copies of the game and am able to play it for my daughter.. Thank you for the help.
Well, to begin with, you was running codebreaker and then the game under it. Codebreaker is not like a game, it takes over PS2 and manages memory and whatever and then it expects the "actual" PS2 to be there. It's not about making PCSX2 compatible with codebreaker but if was the case a codebreaker compatible with PCSX2 is what is needed (PCSX2 has already the pnach engine to that task).

OK, in some cases the game may work under such conditions but there is no warranty and such thing can't be supported by the PCSX2 team (or so I believe).

ps: The above is meant as a clarification, the user can try and use commercial cheat engines, just they all work on the same principle that is taking control of PS2 and then possibly will misfunction with the emulator.
