Hello,

I've been playing around with settings and searching through forums for the last 3 hours. Everyone seems to have a different answer so I thought I would just create a thread.

First... Here are my PC Specs:

All that being said, I am running pcsx2 1.0.0.

What are the recommended specs for this game?

Issues I'm having:
1. black screen flickering during opening movie
2. black lines around cactuses in the first desert
3. pixelated movie clips
4. 49-50 fps (shouldn't it be 60?)

If anyone who knows the best settings and can help me that would be great.

Thanks,
- Vardahoth
The game for mine works perfact . Dunno what wrong with yours one . Well you playing the game with iso or dvd?

Use the stable release of pcsx2 its help you.
Your specs are higher than mine so I dunno what could be wrong. I use internal res on 1920 x 1080 and recommended speed hacks are on. EE Cycle and VU Stealing disabled.

I get a constant 60fps, even during Quickening attacks.

1. Enable the "software mode for FMVs" hack
2. Might be a slight graphics issue. You can enable software mode if it bothers you too much, but you'll be forced to play in native mode and it will likely slow down.
3. PS2 videos are encoded in SD, they are going to be pixelated on a modern monitor
4. You're playing the PAL (european) version of the game. Most PAL PS2 games lack a PAL60 option, and thus play in 50hz instead of NTSC (Japan/US) 60hz.
