in most 3d games im having poor fps performance, i've tried fate unlimited codes, god hand and ridge racer 5, all with 40~ish fps at best, havent messed yet with the speedhacks, any advice to get solid 60fps?

Try preset 4 or 5.
Start by erasing that emucr crap and use an official version.
We dont support unofficial builds
Tried with an official release, same crappy 40~ish fps on RR5, speedhacks on 4 or 5 doesnt help much, it displays that it's going @ 60fps but the game is really slow, worse than without the speedhacks

can you please post the emulog.txt + a screenshot showing what the EE% & gs% are when you get slowdowns ?
with the speedhacks the emulator displays a solid 55~60 fps, the EE% and gs% stays on 60~65 but sometimes they go over 85~90, mostly when there are 3 or 4 cars on the screen, and the game slows down to half or less its speed
without the speedhacks i can only get 60fps when no cars are on the screen, 3 or more and the fps go down to 30, this screenshot is at the start of the race, it's barely unplayable

spedhacks tend to fake fps counter. don't rely on it until you're not using speedhacks

TBH i have no idea how demanding this game can be since i don't have it.
But i'd say your CPU architecture isn't strong enough to run this game properly.
what you could try, though : run it in software mode and set extra rendering threads to 4.
that could help
Try decrease base framerate 10% and increase limiter 112% that won't harm.
Enabling the MTVU speedhack might help you a bit. But the fact nothing is maxed out, would suggest something outside of PCSX2 is slowing you down, not sure what though.
what resolution are you running the game at? If its 6x turn it down to like 3x and see if that helps
