I have a 760 GTX, with an AMD FX-8320 processor along with 8GBs of RAM
I believe if I am correct running the GSdx AVX version is the best plugin for me correct?
Now if I were to use a plugin a level lower, would it increase performance rate at the cost of graphics quality?
Example, would I get better FPS/performance using SSE4.1 GSdx as opposed to the AVX version?
I was trying to run Rachet & Clank Up Your Arsenal and once I got through the cutscenes in the beginning my FPS dropped to as low as 20-25fps..
AVX is interesting if you are using gsdx software mode. If you're using hardware mode, SSe4.1 is the one to use.
Forget about getting full speed in this game, your PC won't be up to the par. This one is extremely demanding and will need something like a I5/i7 around 4.5Ghz

Wow it's seriously that hardcore? I've been searching for a game that I own and can't run lol. Time to dig in the big plastic tub!

It's pretty expensive to run in software rendering without any hitches. Easier to just cope with the texture glitches.

Whoo that one is rough. I can run it at full speed in Hardware with the EE speedhack on 3, but with all the nasty texture glitches.
I can run it at 53-60 FPS in software with EE speedhack on 3.
Playable, but ugly either way lol.

ee to 3 can be dangerous cause it break games and show false fps.
The way ratchet and jak worked on the ps2 was plain weird. Naughty Dog said that a jak and daxter collection would be almost and impossible task because of all the weird tricks they did to get the most performane out of the ps2 as possible.
PCSX2 is great for exposing games which were either coded terribly or in really esoteric ways.
Which plugin would you guys recommend me using? And on SW or HW mode? For all games

plugins which comes with stable release and about hw mode and sw mode its depends on the game that which one works good in hw mode or in sw mode. But in my opinion hardware mode work faster than software mode.
