http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009ZII...UTF8&psc=1 is the one i use and i have 2 controllers paired with not a single drop off yet.
This is the exact one I have http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTD-400-Blu...+bluetooth

As far as the software thing. I didnt have software. I let windows do its thing and it did not work.

EDIT: Felt I would add in my other reason. I did not realize I would have to pair it everytime I hooked it up since I have a ps4. As much as I enjoy the ps4 controller more I only really play gba/snes and other games that dont require the sticks. So no real reason to stick with it.

I would recommend completely uninstalling device and all drivers through hardware manager then re-inserting it, if you have some drivers from another BT device lingering around they may be causing incompatibilities, also make sure to run windows update as they release update BT drivers somewhat regularly.

I have 8.1 and all i had to do was plug this in and then pair the device through the device manager (add a device). using the BT icon in the systray just opened up a metro ui that brought me nowhere.

no one said you have to pair it every time. You only pair the first time, after that u just turn it on and it connects.
I'd been using this to play some games on Steam with my DS4, but now I've run into an issue. Now, no matter if I start the wrapper first or plug the controller in first, the Wrapper doesn't see the controller and therefore doesn't have the Options button available. For all the good the Wrapper does, I might as well not even turn it on, now. Is there any way to fix this?
Yeah we need some deadzone manual controls. There's a way to do this with Duranzo to fix DS2's changed deadzone issues (Now + used to be • ) but a few games do not have a way to fix it per game.

As for Sleeping dogs, it can do both xinput and directinput, so it gets confused unless you hide it
Everytime I plug the controller I have to slide the "Heavy" and "Light" rumble motors up and the save doesn't work. Is there a way to save these settings?
Hello!
Is there a way to use this with TeamSpeak? I read that it can't be, but is there a workaround? I wanna play Dark Souls 2 so Hide DS4 controller must be enabled.

Use with teamspeak? if you mean to use the controllers audio port then not currently, nor do I know if its even something under development
