Hello I am new here and have recently tried Pcsx2 because I was cleaning out the inside of my ps2 when i accidentally ripped the power strip. Now I cannot use it at all. Now, how can I make Gran Turismo 3 work on my laptop?

Specs
Windows Vista Home premium
Acer Aspire 5050-3785
AMD64 turion Processor @2.2GHZ
1.0GB DDR2 SDRAM(I can upgrade it to 4.0GB but I have no money)
256MB dedicated video memory
ATI Raedon Xpress 1100 Graphics card.

Thank you for any responses and help!!!
If you did not dump the bios of your PS2 before it died, you are out of luck.

Thankfully I did. And All I need is the power strip to be replaced and I will be back to my PS2. So what you're saying is that my laptop basically sucks too bad for PCSX2 to work with GT3?
I can run FS2004 and GTA San Andreas with no problem(on medium settings).
What about this one, This is my mom's PC

It my be possible, but with an integrated graphics card and a mobile processor you will most likely not be able to achieve full speed.
A little search reveals ( http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2843.html...an+Turismo ) that the game is not running very well at the moment.

Sp your best bet might be to buy a new PS2 or getting it repaired.
