So, finally, i will have a new laptop after some money i received in Christmas.
The one i have in mind considering it´s price/quality relation is an ASUS with the following specs:
RAM:4 GB DDR3-1600
Processor: Intel I7 Dual Core-3537U 2ghz with 3.1ghz turbo boost/burst
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 720M with 2 GB DDR3 dedicated.
Hard Drive: 500GB
So is this able to run PCSX2 quite good?
Laptops are not the ideal machine for emulation as they lack a good enough processor for emulation. Especially if you want to run PCSX2 or Dolphin. Get a desktop instead and you can get a decent processor that will run emulation way better.
in addition your i7 has a U w/c means you can't run your laptop at full-top-speed. since the power usage is marginable.
if running batteries getting more worsen.
Yeah, that GPU especially isn't going to do you many favours.

well,yeah. i play in a laptop and it works fine. but games are large. most of them are GB's

anyway @cgar unless the author can afford that monster desktop i think he is not....
need to post a well-balanced specs. that can able to afford the author to buy.

Um... it looks like a laptop to me. The GPU is a dead give-away. It has an "M" at the end.
if i had to buy a laptop
my choice would
always go to AMD apus
probably for the cpu part intel is better and less battery hungry (17W TDP)
but actually.. why use (and pay) for
two GPUs (which eat energy, 25W) when you could go for a single and equally powerful one?
buy an A10 powered laptop (25-35W) and you won't have to worry for nvidia optimus technology too
