I am playing Shadow Hearts Covanent with the latest PCSX2. Direct X11 hardware mode 4x scaling gsdx sse4 r5350. The problem is the game is kinda blurry. Not the cutscenes, but the actual in-game like exploration and battle. If I enable HW Hacks, and then enable half-pixel offset, it no longer blurs, but the shadows become huge black lines. I then need to change frame skip to 2 for the shadows to disappear but I am left without any shadows.

When I google for this problem, all I get are the half black screen bug when the battle wheel shows up. I don't care about this at all but can't find any threads discussing the problem I am experiencing. Is there a way to keep my shadows and make the gameplay not blurry?
I don't have this game, but is suspect it to be an intentional effect.
tried software mode ?

I'd rather not play in software mode because the graphics don't look too good. From what I have googled, the pcsx2 wiki for this game, and youtube videos, nobody else seems to be having my problem.

hem.
no, you don't get it.
I wanted to know if this effect occurs in software mode too.

No it appears to be fine. Though software mode is much lower quality to begin with. But I think it no longers blurs as much as it did in hardware mode.
I think maybe it is because I don't have Direct3D10 as an optional renderer. All I have is 9 and 11. The youtube videos are all using 10.
Nope.
D3d10 & 11 are the same ( pcsx2 wise)
What if you lower internal res ?
Running mine at 3x Native and it doesn't look blurry to me. Could you maybe post some screen shots?
Use the TC offset hack to sort it. I think something like 350,350 sorts out the blurring.
Just to be clear you get ingame right? You're not talking about the cutscenes? I only ask because someone had this exact issue with Dragon Quest VIII and it was cause they were watching an intro and never got in game Tongue

EDIT: seems i was ninja'd and Asmodean is aware that the issue exists haha.
