Full Version: Missing menus and output problems (solution found)

Recently I got the new PCSX 1.2.1 emulator and I finally got the emulator working in the right speed and the framerate isn't too fast or too slow in the cutscenes as well as in the game however now I have a problem with missing screens, here are images of the missing screen problems

System specifications

Processor : Intel Core i5 3570k (3.40GHz)
Graphics Card : Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 660ti 2GB
Motherboard : GIGABYTE H77-D3H
Random Access Memory : Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600mhz
Power Supply : Cooler Master GX Lite 600w
Mechanics : Sony Optiarc DVD-RW (CD Writer not CD Rom drive) (I still use it as a cd/dvd drive)
Hard Drive : Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Operating System : Windows 8

What game is that and what non default settings are you using?

Try pressing f9 while playing.
It skips the cutscenes but it doesn't seem to get rid of the error
here is what component selectors and GS settings I use

Try using the default rounding modes (bold) in EE/IOP and VU's.

Ok it is fixed thank you Donovan24 you have solved my missing menus and texts problem, now I have learned that using the default "bold" settings in EE/IOP and VU's was the solution

Glad to help.

In the future always use default settings unless a different setting fixes a game.
