CPU speed = 3.715 ghz (6 logical threads)
PCSX2 1.2.1

I'm trying to play Burnout 3 takedown and it runs fine at around 60fps until I enter a race and it drops to about 26-27fps
Could anyone help me to configure it properly? I'm guessing thats what is wrong
Any help would be appreciated Biggrin

Hmmm, the gpu seems a bit weak ! But try with vu cycle rate to 2 in speedhack section !

the CPu is weak too, unfortunately.
no much you can do except tinkering with speedhacks until you get near playable speeds. but don't expect miracles with that CPU.

I had it running earlier at 60fps but it was a little blurry and the sky was black, so i tried fixing it and made it worse Sad

To fix the sky just boot the game in software mode then when you get into a race just switch back to hardware mode. That will fix the sky until you reboot the game.

There is something that doesn't make sense. The FX 6300 is Piledriver not Bulldozer. The FX 6100 is Bulldozer

How would I boot in software mode? I'm still new to emulator's

AMD FX-6300 6 Core Bulldozer CPU OVERCLOCKED to 3.7GHz is what it says for me

Press F9. That will switch between the renderers
