I haven't tried other games yet, but using Lilypad (0.11.0, default that came with latest PCSX2 1.2.1) and my Mayflash Wii Classic Controller USB adapter on Windows XP:
Castlevania Lament Of Innocence, the direction between down and down right (so SSE on a compass) doesn't seem to apply full pressure.
I can run normally in nearly every direction, but if the left stick is pointed SSE, then I can only walk. I tried the device test, and the numbers for the axis directions look okay. It behaves the same no matter which input method I use.
