I've been trying to emulate SOTC but these weird glitches that you can see in my image are all over the screen. Both cutscenes and gameplay have these. These are the only problems I have because I've been following people's advice for emulation setup. Has anyone else had these?
What glitches? You mean the snow looking stuff?

It's kind of hard to see in that screenshot but there are jutting textures. Its easier to see in this picture.
Do you have an Nvidia GPU by chance?

I do.
Try update to the very latest drivers.

If that doesn't work, try Config->Video->Plugin Settings. Tick Enable HW hacks, click configure by that, and in there tick "Nvidia hack."

One of these two should fix the problem, but try drivers first.
wasn't SotC a game that you MUST run in software mode, cause of those glitches?
Nope. Software fixes some bloom issues, but this issue is not a known one: http://wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/Shadow_of_the_Colossus
hmm okay, as far as I could remember was that SotC was so heavy CAUSE you had to run it in SW mode. Oh well Tongue
Did you mess with clamping or round modes?
