x) I am fairly green when talking about what I need to play PCSX2.
x) It's a Toshiba Satellite Laptop.
x) I mostly want to play ESPN NFL 2K5, since madden is a disgrace.
x) Randomly I once got to the main screen of the game, but I might have tinkered the PCSX2 Configuration to not work.

x) If someone can help on a configuration for very low end PC's for PCSX2,
and good Hardware to buy for my Laptop,
That would be greatly appreciated.

1st, this is a dual core, not a quad.
2nd, this game has "ingame"status on latest SVNs. Try latest.

Thanks for the reply and trying to help. But I don't know too much about the hardware in Computers. The post I made was also what would make PCSX2 run. I don't necessarily care about graphics, but I just want to know what can play the game, no heavy lags or freezes.
Is there any secret drivers to download that will boost my CPU's performance?
Again, I'm not very experienced with the hardware of computers

The guide I linked you is your best chance of getting playable speeds with that weak machine you have.
Else, you'll have to keep playing on your PS2 until you can afford a better machine.

I had a powerful machine almost 2 years ago but I'd rather get a Laptop. I don't have a PS2 now, I have a PS4. PlayStation Now doesn't have any good games.
All I just need to know what would make PCSX2 better, I configured to the link you sent, but what about hardware?

if you don't have a PS2, there's no legal way to use pcsx2.
