Newest version of the plugins suddenly cries for a Direct-X update, which is beyond me. What version does this plugin look for?
the latest dx9 if using xp, or the latest dx10 if using vista

latest is DX9.0c, I've got this one, where's the problem?

Just download run the DX installer again. MS updates DX even if it's still called 9.0c.
yes it's still 9.0c since you already update it give it a try now.
Uhm... why then yell for an update if it's the same version? It's the same API so why force a minor revision ( forcing minor revision = very very bad programming practise )?
It's still 9.0c BUT think of it having many newer builds, which are not visible to the user. So after using the web updater, you get the latest build of 9.0c which is available at the time you used it. This is what is required for the newer PCSX2 plugins

actually it has both dx9.0c and dx10 (the updater checks which version of windows you have) plus it's because microsoft does revision changes (that's why you have to update it)

EDIT: and as always Bostiman beats everybody Tongue
