When i go to play sims 2 it lets go from the main menu to the create a character screen around 48 - 50 fps when im done making my sim and select done then let it save and go in to the neighbourhood it instantly drops down to 12 - 13 fps please reply also here is a picture to show you what i mean: http://imgur.com/ac8fZYB
just click once on the imgur picture near the red circles to see the fps i showed in the pictures those are actually my gameplay that i showed
also if it helps my config in Video (GS) is this:
Adapter: Default Hardware Device

Renderer: Direct3D9 (Hardware)

Interlacing (F5): None

Resolution: Native

Hardware Mode Settings: Nothing but Logarithmic Z and Alpha Correction (FBA) is checked

Software Mode Settings: Extra Rendering threads: 0 and edge anti-aliasing (AA1) is unchecked

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

i dont know how to find out what my hardware specs are and the version of pcsx2 is 1.2.1 and i dont know what you mean by non default settings and the game im trying to play is sims 2 as listed in my threads title
please post the emulog.txt
i found out how to find my hardware specs my CPU is AMD Sempron™ 145 Processor 2.80 GHz my memory is 2.00 GB the only things i cant find is Mobo and GPU

keep playing it on your PS2.
this CPU won't cut it whatever you do.
my disc is scratched i managed to make an iso of it i cant play it on my ps2
You wont have any other choice than buying another copy, i guess.
Ok will do. But do you think there are any games that might work on pcsx2 on my computer with the hardware specs that i have?
Which game(s) do you actually own ?
