It works fine for me on a regular x64 version.
too bad there isn't an advanced log to debug the problem Sad
(02-26-2015, 09:48 PM)haarrrllll Wrote: [ -> ]Not a problem with DS4Windows, but I can't pair my controller via bluetooth. I'm using a bluetooth 4.0 dongle with Windows 8.1, and when I try to add the device, I get the error message "no pairing response received". I've tried 2 different dongles, one with bluetooth 3.0, I've tried resetting the controller after using it with a cable, but it won't ever pair. Any ideas on how to sort this?
Did you press and hold the Share + PS button at the same time? That's how initiate pairing with the DS4. LED light should flash rapidly when you do it. Options + PS button to disconnect and once controller has already been paired, simply press the PS button to reconnect/turn on.
I have managed to get some info of what might be wrong using event viewer . No ideea what it means though:

(02-22-2015, 08:43 AM)SirComeStance Wrote: [ -> ]Hi Jays2Kings,

I've been experiencing a few problems with the software and i was hoping you could help me figure them out.

The first problem I'm having is that whether i open DS4Windows before or after Steam Steam still crashes on me.

The second is that i cant determine what is stopping DS4Windows from allowing me to activate the 'Hide DS4 Controller' function even after closing all the programs that i think are causing it from working.

And lastly on the rare occasion i do get it working it will crash whatever game im trying to play (usually through Steam).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Can you tell me about your setup? What OS, bluetooth or USB, if bluetooth what dongle?

(02-25-2015, 02:45 AM)Emophia Wrote: [ -> ]Hi, first of all thanks for maintaining such a great program.

But there is one issue for me, the red flashing latency/input delay light, is there any way to turn it off? It only procs for me during charging (I like to keep the controller on during this to see the battery) so I'd really like to turn it off before it gives me epilepsy.

Thanks.

I'll add it as an option.

I'll try to send you some debug builds and see if any of them work for you, check your PMs shortly.

Wow, that's awesome, thanks a lot.
yes, the newer version you sent me works. no more crashes.
Hey first off all, thx for great program.

On my second computer which i use for steam in house streaming I have Windows XP installed. Can i run this tool? when i try'ed it did not started and in supported win version is listed Vista, 7, 8. So XP are not supported? Is there some workaround which i can try to make it run or there is no hope?
I installed DS4Windows and all the required software, made sure everything was up-to-date and it all worked perfectly until one day I turn it on and it works in some games but not in others. It no longer works in Skyrim (I haven't changed any settings) and I've reinstalled the program, cleared any settings etc... nothing seems to work. I do however get this error sometimes but don't know what it means

Uninstall that version and try installing the last version you know that works correctly. Then see what happens.

I was on the latest version anyway when I had no issues. I'll revert and see if that helps
EDIT* Well just tried the old version and I still get the error. I also noticed the Settings tab didn't say "Settings" it was just blank, it still had all the options like hide the DS4 but no settings name at the top
I still get the same error message sometimes and I think that is what is causing the issue

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
