This is indeed a very peculiar issue. Another SO3 related issue, every now and then, the graphics flicker, zoom in, then zoom back to normal, but almost like a strobe-like effect

Sound disabled since it's not necessary for the report, but if you look at the six-second mark, you can see his face zoom in and out in less than a second. Also happens when on the map, graphics flicker, zoom in, then back to normal and while it doesn't give me a headache, it can get annoying pretty fast.

Is it a the game hacks being automatically applied to the game? I played this a while back and I never had this issue. Maybe it's because I'm not using 1.2.1 but using 1.2.0 r5859 Either way, this shouldn't be happening. It doesn't have to do with the progressive video mode (F5), but I just random flickering/zooming in.

It's very hard to catch but it happens very frequently. If you need another video, let me know, I can capture it easier. Again, when I played it on the same hardware a few months back, I never had this issue, but it could be the version of the plugin I'm using.

Using GSdx 5864 (gsdx32-sse41-r5854) tried the SSSE3, AVX and SSE2 versions of the same plugin revision, no dice.
did you use the Nvidia hardware hack?

Is that what's causing that sporadic stretching, having that off? I didn't even think to enable it. I mean, did that video explain the issue or at least, show it well enough so my explanation made sense? Any other HW hacks that I need to use?

No, the Nvidia hack should be it.

Well, I guess that this "report" all the more proves I've been on one helluva PEBKAC/1D10T error streak lately Sad

I should stop reporting everything I think is a bug, like, forever.
Update: Dammit, it didn't work, I still see flickering.....ugh. This....sucks....what the deuce, man? And yes, I did click/check "enable HW hacks"

What driver version?

For the GPU? I know the most recent one is 344.11 - Is it fixed on that version? Because that hack didn't do a dang thing to fix that zoom/flickering issue. What else is causing it? And when I do update the GPU drivers, and it still happens, then what? Once again, I don't remember this happening before, like, at all.

I'm on the one prior to 344.11 I believe.

Edit: No, scratch that, I AM on 344.11 after all....what the actual hell? Why is this happening then? What GIT version are you using? I'm on 1.2.0 r5859.
Try going BACK on your drivers pre 320(i don't know where the issue starts, but it's present in 326).

Ah, so, it's not just me then, but started back then? Bollocks, I had no idea. But, well, rolling back, yeah....ugh..... Will this ever be looked into and fixed, I mean, do you guys know the cause? Would a different GIT revision and plugin version alleviate the issue at all? Man, I really was afraid of having to roll back just for one game. I hope this can be resolved someday.

I guess this bug report really was a big effing waste of time for you Sad
