I have a system specs of:

1gb ram ddr2
intel pentium 4 3.4 ghz
Nvidia 8600gt 1gb ddr3

And i have decided to increase ram to 4gb, so after increasing, will Gta vcs run over 30 fps ?
No RAM has no impact on PCSX2 speed. And what the heck does this have to do in Site feedback and questions? Moved..

Will you be able to run faster if you buy bigger shoesTongue... Pcsx2 is mostly cpu dependant
I have a question about the CPU dependent aspect... I have heard a few members state that you really need more than 2ghz for the emulator to run properly.. but.. surely a Pentium4 3.5GHz can't run the emulator better than a dual core duo 2ghz?

Simple comparison:
Core 2 duo 2 Ghz - 2 fit young workers (more efficient architecture)able to shovel 2 tons of coal per hour - in summary 4 tons (with 3,5 ghz each will shovel about 3,5 tons)

Pentium 4 3,5 GHZ- one old (less efficient architecture) lazy worker able to shovel 2,5 tons of coal per hour

Hope I managed to picture the differenceCool

Taking a look here may help you clearing your doubts.
I can play both Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories fine with 2GB of RAM. It runs nicely and smooth throughout. If you're having problems then it's definitely your CPU as stated above. You're using an old Socket 478 P4 Prescott, don't expect to much.
