Hey, I'm trying to play Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and everything's working except for sound. And also, I'm using version 1.2.1
Here are my hardware specs:
Manufacturer: ZT Systems
Processor: AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics 2.90 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 16.0 GB (15.5 GB Usable)
System Type: 64-Bit OS

So, what do I need to do? Also, should I move this to bug reports?

It's already using XAudio2.

Then try portaudio...

I assume sounds are in general working with your pc?

Either way, if sound doesn't work it could be a problem with your driver. Try other games, or other programs. If you don't have sound at all, and had it before, try rebooting, and reinstalling the sound drivers.
