Hi, I'm planning to buy a new Ultrabook.

Mostly between:

1. I5 4210u with geforce gt740m

2. I7 5500u with on-board intel hd 5500

How will this computers behave with pcsx2?

my vote is dont expect much from ultrabook in terms of pcsx2 performance but the i7 is gonna be better then the i5

Do you think it will work fine with frame skip and native resolution?

what games do you want to play

I'm talking mostly about jrpg games
Like rogue galaxy and dq8 for example

Dragon Quest VIII is a very GPU demanding game.

Geforce gt740m is a very good card,
But i guess the i5 will be a big bottleneck, wont it?

the 740m is pretty weak compared to today's standards. It's only a bit faster than intel hd 5200
