I need some help...
I did all the installation, did everything properly and it won't run.

This might sound like an odd question, but, do you have a working PS2 BIOS that you've configured PCSX2 to use?

Without a PS2 BIOS, you won't be able to use the program to play games.

yeah, I am using *looks guilty* some ones I found on the net. (I had a PS2 at one point but it got lost during a move, so I don't think its that bad overall)
I played it via using the GT4 to open up PCSX2, but couldn't control anything.

Unfortunately you need to dump the BIOS yourself from a PS2 you actually own. These forums are against any sort of piracy (which includes downloading PS2 BIOS files and games), and no further support can be given until you've obtained an actual PS2 and dumped the BIOS from it yourself.

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
