Full Version: How to fix random crashes?

PCSX2 will rarely, but periodically crash in almost any game. This ruins most action adventure games unless i abuse the save state feature, and these crashes are especially annoying when i'm creating a complex character in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns (it takes about an hour and a half to fully create a real-life wrestler). What could be causing this?

Please provide the full emulog during the crash instance.
x4 native is way too high for a 1gb graphics card in a lot of games, i would keep it at 2x, at very tops 3x, you could be running out of memory. I'd start with native and work up.
Is spuX set to xaudio? if so switch that to portaudio see if the random crashes stop
I've had that problem before
i updated my DX9 and installed ALL of microsoft visual C++ (2005-2008-2010-2012-2013).

AND uninstall any old versions of microsoft visual C++ i recommend fresh installation just go to microsoft site and download the latest versions MV C++ from 2005 to 2013
