I tried to load my God of War 2 ISO in 0.9.6 and right after the screen goes black it immediately crashes. I have the current BIOS and settings. Any reason why this is happening?

PC Specs:

AMD Phemon X2 3.0ghz
3 gigs of ram
ATI Radeon 4850
Vista 64

The problem is as I stated before. I'd load up the ISO (run .elf file, hit view all files, select GOW2 ISO), goes black, then crashes.

How do I configure the BIOS once I change it to software mode?
load pcsx2 with the cdvd plugin set to CDVDNull
Is that to configure the BIOS or to run the game? Because the post before said to change it from that. Which I did and it still did the same thing
why not just use linuz iso plugin for your cddvd and select the gow2 iso that way then go to file->run cd/dvd?
