im using rss to stay up2date for all kinds of news, would it be possible to post the beta releases on the main page so that users who are using rss get the news without checking in the forum everyday or is it not possible due to traffic limits ?

Err, well, just so you know, I release it weekly more or less so no need to check it once a day. Mostly, you want to check on sunday or monday.
As for rss, I'm not in charge of it so I would not know

Perhaps you may think about releasing a new build on a specific weekday, like Sunday or Monday
...But after thinking about it twice, it's not going to change anything

If you want the newest revs, just compile it yourself. It's quick and easy and would be much better than waiting a week. Check the stickied Compile Guide for instructions.
