Hello everybody. I'm from Italy, I hope I will not make any mistakes in english... if it happens, sorry.

My PS2 broke so I decided to use PCSX2 to play the games I have.
I downloaded PCSX2 1.2.1 Standalone Installer - Version:1.2.1, installed on my pc and tried to play Valkyrie Profile 2. It started smoothly but after I chose New Game and the first fmv finished, there were some problems with graphic...

But in cities and during battles there are no problems.

My pc specs: CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz
GPU: AMD R9 200 series
RAM: 8 GB
OS: Windows 7

Game: Valkyrie Profile 2 (original dvd not a copy or an iso...)

I tried to switch from Direct3D11 (hardware) to (software) and there were no problems, but with the native resolution, the quality was pretty low and the fps sometimes were 30~35...

Can I solve these problems without lowering the graphic quality? :/
Or the only way is to play with Direct3D11 (software)?

is known glitch you have to run that first forest in software mode (f9) and maybe one of the later forests the battles in the forest are fine though you canput 3~4 extra rendering threads and should put you at full speed while in software mode

check enable hw hacks and then the alpha, hack cause i not see that in while, use one GIT builds the game should run and look pretty much correct with out and hw hack in thre git builds just dont mess with crc levels in git build this game need full to run at correct speeds short of the bluring/ghosting that happens
