Hi-Rez Studios is celebrating over twenty years of the TRIBES Universe and thus allowing legal downloads of all the legacy games in the series. That also includes Tribes: Aerial Assault



AFAIK that game works ok with PCSX2,  supports Online play and can also be played online using PCSX2.

Edit: Sorry, edited the post. LAN play doesn't seem to be supported but online play works. Set your primary DNS to 142.4.223.231 and try.

I just emailed the developers to show my respect for them being willing to help others archive and enjoy the past without fear of copyright, I think it's fantastic!

Yeah, it's very legit. Developers who cling ridiculously hard to copyright of things that are no longer bringing them any revenue just annoy me.

Stuff like this is good for both sides: It gets the dev respect and potential newcomers to the series, and it gets the gamer free loot. Good stuff.

Great news, thanks for the heads up. Does this game have a singleplayer(even if just against bots)?
