I have a CRT and a Laptop with HDMI out. Is there a way to make PCSX2 output to the CRT with an interlaced signal?
I don't think there is any plausible way to translate HDMI to VGA is there? unless you use a signal converter box, which will do the interlacing itself.

Neither my TV nor my Laptop have VGA.

The idea is to bypass the need for "de-interlacing" on my LCD by just sending an interlaced signal over a medium(HDMI) that supports it to a display(My TV) that supports interlaced signals.
What input does your TV take?

Pretty much everything except VGA, SCART, PAL, or DisplayPort

And yes, HDCP and Audio over HDMI are fully supported. RCA jacks are just there in case you're using DVI or something.
Yeah thats not a CRT TV..

My mistake. An any case, it handles interlaced video better than my IPS monitor. So is there any way to tell PCSX2 to just send a fullscreen interlaced video signal to it?

I'll look into what kind of TV it could be. I assumed it was CRT because of the glass tube.

Actually it may be: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-kBvySWUppQt...HS510.html

There are HD CRTs that have HDMI.

This is it.

Not sure what counts as "HD", but from what I've seen, the emulator doesn't support HD hacks anyway like the the real console does, so it's not that important that the TV be HD.

PS: If I recal correctly, the 510 does not have HDMI, it has DVI, but minus the sound it works pretty much the same. The 400 has HDMI though, but I think it lacks the split screen modes.
You can set deinterlacing to none and just connect both, or?

What would you actually like to achive? Are you not satisfied with the current situation?

Btw. I don't know what you mean by hd hacks but gsdx allows upscaling wich increases efficiently the output resolution. You could call that a hd hack.
