I have a pc that is a good spec (i7 3770k, GTX 280 8 gig ram, 1tb for games) this is not my main pc simply a dedicated one I use for a crt tv hence the graphics card being the weak point as its the best one I could get that has component out for my crt.

Right now I use a 250 gig hard drive which runs fine but start up and shut down is slow and for the first 2 or 3 minutes upon boot Windows is slow and sometimes when opening programs when it has spun down.

I bought a SSD just for speeding up Windows but wondered if I have the emulator on my 1tb hard drive will it run any faster or better to put it on the SSD.

I was happy the emulator ran before.
an SSD will make little difference on PCSX2, a good 7200rpm mechanical harddrive should be fast enough Smile
