Full Version: Kingdom hearts 2 frames are slow

when i play kingdom hearts 2 the frames are like at the 0-30 can someone tell how i get to a good frame
well what are your computer specs?  CPU/RAM/Graphics card.. ?

this is the imformation for my windows computer (Hp notebook)
AMD A6-5200 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.0GHz 4096MB RAM
I'm not surprised, you won't get full speed with that cpu.

And if you are going to do that,make sure to check this page before deciding on the cpu...the bigger the number(in Single Thread Rating),the higher speed you'll get

hm my friend has this CPU in his laptop and he could play FFX and KH1 just fine.
Not sure about KH2, but it has similar requirements than its predecessor.

I would suggest you try speedhacks, MTVU should give a huge speedup since you have more than 2 cores.
Also use DX9 or DX11 for graphics, do not put the internal resolution higher than 2x native.
For my old Core2Duo KH was easily playable and KH2 unbearable at some places. My Core2Duo was stronger (~900 STR) at stock speed than the mentioned APU (~800 STR) .
I could play KH1 on my Core2Duo fine as well but that was times where speedhacks like MTVU didn't exist yet.
MTVU should help since he has more than 2 cores.
